Mobile Hearing Testing in Oregon

Anadyne provides mobile hearing testing services to hundreds of employers throughout the Pacific Northwest, including the state of Oregon. Unlike national, one-size-fits-all providers, our location in the northwest ensures we comply with all local regulations that vary from federal OSHA regulations.

Similar to Washington, Oregon also has variations from the Federal OSHA noise standards that employers should be aware of, including

  • Like Washington, Oregon does not allow for age correction when a hearing standard threshold shift occurs. Again, the age correction is allowed to be applied to the recordability of the shift

  • Oregon does not allow for a mobile van exemption when it comes to baseline hearing tests. These tests must be conducted within 6 months of the employee's inclusion in the hearing conservation program.

  • Oregon requires the hearing test examiner to be either a physician, audiologist, otolaryngologist, or CAOHC certified audiometric technician.
